Ever thought who is behind the lens?

One of the big successes of the new website is the photographs that can now be placed against news articles and in the gallery. But have you ever thought who takes these photographs – well read on.
Ben Ring is that man and he has always had a keen interest in photography and his clients include Northampton Saints Rugby Club, with many of his pictures being printed in the Chronicle & Echo match reports. Following this, he set up his own photography business, focusing on wedding, sports and event photography and have been given great feedback from all of my clients, so far. One of his recent weddings was that of Michael Hulme and he will be photographing Jo’s wedding in 2011.
Ben would like to gain more experience in other areas of photography, for example studio based, industrial and commercial photography. He hopes to take photography to a professional level, following the completion of a degree course at Kent University, where he will be studying Drama.
Ben has been taking photos for Northampton Rugby League for two years now; it has been a great experience, with many great moments such as capturing Aaron Goodman’s swan dive, against Bedford Tigers. He hopes to continue doing photos for Northampton Rugby League next season, with my Dad Frank Ring, helping me and my younger brother Cameron Gregory-Ring, playing for the under 16’s.
Ben has his own gallery website which can be found at www.photoboxgallery.com/BGRPHOTOGRAPHY. You can buy photographs of your son playing for Northampton.
If you go the gallery section of the website you can see at first hand the quality of the pictures he takes.
A big thanks must go to Ben and Frank for all the time and effort they take to photograph the players both juniors and adults.
