Team Mates With Alex Ayling

What do you want out of the new season?

I think it is important that we continue to build the club and look to expand our base of good committed players.  Last season was a good one but we felt the pinch towards the end with injuries and absences.  If we can do this and re-establish the Demon spirit that has brought our recent successes then we can push to the next level.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Hoping to move the family to Australia but whether here or there, I’ll be continuing the coaching route and hope to be doing good things in the future.

Best Trainer?

Dave Marks – faultless commitment and work ethic, even if on occasions a little over zealous and being asked by Gary to ‘pipe down’.

Quickest Player?

New boy Reece Rance is pretty rapid, would be interesting to see him and Danny B going head to head.

Most Skilful?

Without a doubt, Kie Fewsters ball skills can create acres of space or pick the tiniest of locks.

Biggest Moaner?

Haha, that’s easy having spent last season side by side with Mr Patrick ‘What’s a sun tan?’ Wilson.

Most Potential?

Obviously I’d say me but the old folk’s home only let me out once a week….Seriously though there are so many young players at the club with bags of potential and with the right commitment to training and playing, could go a long way.

Hard Man?

Seeing Wolfie take a loose pass that resulted in him sparked out with a broken jaw and then rejoining the game 10 minutes later made me a little bit scared……especially when he finished the whole game before taking a leisurely jaunt to the hospital!

Best Dancer?

I’m sure there are more skilful dancers but once you’ve witnessed the gruesome twosome of Trig Dog and Desi hitting the floor, there’s no going back.

Worst Dress Sense?

A few contenders but I’d have to say Euan Walker.  Only a young lad but probably passed the age that his Mum should still be dressing him.

And……

Who’s the longest in the shower?

Proportionally I’d say Joe Smith……because he’s only 3ft 4in himself……although he would probably argue he’s still the 3rd tallest in his house.
